On Sunday, March 8th, CONSONANCE performed at True Vine Church in Oakland, CA. They were the guest singing group for the second year in a row. The set they provided was typically awesome.The set started with "Come On Into This House" a song that will be on their upcoming cd. Mack Williams and Paul Foster, Jr. share the lead part in a way that reminds you of the Soul Stirrers back in the day. The group then sang "Thank You" which is an audience favorite. They followed with "God Came In My Life" that has that infectious refrain, "just in the nick of time". The set ended with Mack Williams walking the ailes with "When I Get In Glory" an upbeat, toe-tapping number with tons of energy. The group is truly at its best in a church setting where people can let their hair down and go along for the spiritual ride. Be sure to see them when they perform in your area. By Jackie Taylor
